Default Window SASH Screws

I am looking at the 80 chevy manual, the Haynes Manual and into the door with window all the way up, for the "SASH" screws that supposidely have a nut on back, that I need to get out, so I can remove the glass to get new rollers onto windows ....

I may be really stupid, blind or both, but don't see what they are talking about in the manuals ....... I see the holes in panel where some guy is putting a screwdriver in, and holding his hands up into panel through motor access hole, but I don't see the screws ........

Can someone shed some light????

Hmm, I would have to look, but as I recall, I got the nuts off the glass from the inside with the window down just a bit, wasn't a big deal. With the door panel off look in from the door panel side, move the window down some and see if you can see them, I think there are 3?

Haynes strikes again. Get the Helms Shop Manual.

Are the screws in the Vertical channels or the horizontal channel?

I think the ones your looking for come thru the glass, so the nuts are facing the inside of the car
