battery question
My 71 calls for a 74 series battery. Interstate and delco don't make a 74 anymore. They substitute it with a 78 series that doesn't fit in the battery box correctly. Who makes an American made battery with plenty of amps that fits? I have higher compression than stock and I want enough power to crank it. Thanks a lot.

Thanks. Does delco make a 79? My brother works in the parts at a gm dealer. He got me the 78 series that replaced my 74 and it was only 650 amps. I'll have him take it back and get a 79.
