Tach change

I'm putting a later c3 electronic tach in a 73. I know which terminals are which on the tach. I need to know where the signal wire & the 12v wire go in a factory install. these wires are not in the harness so i will run them my self.
I have'nt looked at this forum for awhile.......what a great source of information. I'm doing frame off restores on 3 C3s right now & learned more in the last 3 hours than from all the books & manuals I've bought.

The signal wire is off the - side of the coil. The 12 volt wire should be any 12 volt when the ignition is turned on and the other is a ground.
