Electrical Short....
Howdy,
My '78 has some sort of short in the dash/parking light circuit. When the ignition switch is turned to the accessory and run position, the dash lights and parking lights come on. Pulling the headlight switch has no effect and the both sets of lights remain on. Anyone seen this before or have an idea as to which circuit to check out first? Thanks, Paul.

That would be hard to tell without going thry the car. I would get the wiring diagram, a cheap vom, and go to it.
I can tell you CRAZY things are usually bad/failed grounds. When bad, the power takes alternate routes, causing strange symptoms.
I have seen in my career strange things, like a Home Depot commercial. Turning on a garbage disposal, and the porch light goes on.
