Default restoring a 68 L68

I am interested in removing the body from the frame of my 68. The motor is currently out as I blew it at the track, ( 4 seasons of drag racing at Cayuga not bad for an engine) anyway what was going to be a simple engine rebuild has turned into a "WHY DON'T I DO A FULL RESTORATION." Does anyone know where the 8? bolts that hold the body onto the frame are. I'm sure I will have tons of other questions in the near future............Thanks

Well, I’m not going to tell you where they are, I’m going to tell you something even better… buy a ’68 assembly manual before beginning. Most of the information you will need is in there. Also, pay close attention to the front end brackets that are bolted to the front of the frame and that annoying metal strap that is in the driveshaft tunnel (I understand that one causes many headaches). Keep in touch. I’m about 3 weeks ahead of you with my own frame off project.
