I am getting ready to buy a weather stripping kit for the '81, and I see that TLD sells the same weather stripping kit Zip does for $85 cheaper, but is the kit TLD sells cheaper quality?
I am thinking about buying it through TLD, but wanted some replies first.
go straight to corvette rubber. You won't be sad. They make the weatherstripping that zip and MAD and ecklers sells...They may even make the stuff TLD sells. Not to mention, I got a complete kit for my '77 for $215. MAD had it for like $389. Just a thought. As for the web site to corvette rubber...I ahve lost it, but I think someone will be able to chime in with it. If not I will go through my history and see if I can find it.
I buy 95% of my Vette parts from TLD. I have never had a problem or a bad experience with them and their prices are usually better than anyone elses. It also helps that I live about 10 miles from them and can walk in and get what I need.
