new kinda headlight prob
recently my driver side headlight stopped coming up.... well actually it comes up about a half inch and then sounds like it hit something and stops. i was driving it one night and it worked just fine then got in it about an hour later and it started doing that. you cant pull it up or anything like that so i doubt it is a vacuum problem. anyone ever heard of a problem like this? any advice? i want to drive my baby again but I can't without a working headlight.

Check for things like cracks on the brackets and lost springs.

Take a look at the support that is bonded to the nose piece. Could be that it came loose and is causing the headlight housing to bind. Hope that's not the case because you have to do a fair bit of dismantling to fix the problem.

i found the problem.... the screws that hold on the mask that covers the lights came out and the mask fell down and was causing the light to bind.... guess i should actually look at the problem before i ask questions

Glad it was an easy fix like that and glad you posted back your results. Kind of makes it nice if someone goes looking for help and does a search. This is just another possible thing for someone to look at.
