427 sbc efi cam finalized?
Hey all,
I called Comp cams and these are the most radical cam I can use and still get 10" vacuum at 1,000 rpm.
1. Solid Roller (preference at this point): 242/248 @ .050
608/614 lift (with 1.6)
112 degree LS, 4 degrees LS built in.
2. Hydr Roller: 242/248 @ .050; 584/579 lift (with 1.6 rockers). 113 degree LS. 4 degree LS built in.
Can anyone run this on desktop dyno with 10.5:1 compression, 6" rods, 210 cfm Alum. AFR Eliminator heads and 1 7/8 Hooker header/sidepipes, Vic Jr. single plan (EFI Proflow setup with 44-65 lb injectors)?
To go anymore cam I would have to upgrade to a FAST or similar computer ($2,000?). Might get this and then go with a blow through Vortech setup soon after. Still want 600+ hp, but may have to settle with 550ish?
