I just got done getting the right side #4 body mount out, I am sure the left will be similar. I have some new poly body mounts and the new cages for the #4 mounts, but the frame mount is rusted, needs replaced/repaired. Questions...
1. How do the body grommets go in exactly? Small radius of the grommet out or in?
2. How big is this hole supposed to be in the frame standoff? It obviously is rusted out pretty bad.
I made some plates out of 1/8 material and just cut out the top of the rusted area and welded in the new plate. I am guessing but I think the hole was 1 and 3/16 inch. The small end goes through the mount.
OK, 1 bushing per mount then, was thinking 2, top and bottom for some reason. Yeah, I have some 1/8" steel, guess I'll do the same and weld/repair it. Thanks a lot for the hole size, that helps a lot. I'll post some more pics after I repair it.
Their is a pair of bushings that go on each mount using original rubber mounts. They go up small end from the bottom on #2 and #3 down small end from the top on #1 and #4.
