Anyone know who sells bulk wire for cars? I need 10 feet or so of 3 or 4 colors in a couple sizes?
I looked at waytek, but it looks like you have to buy a 500 foot role.
Lil more than I need

Waytek sells in much smaller quantities than that.

They have LOTS of wire there, but is it GTX or whatever for automotive underhood use?

Jegs has a good selection!! The wire at Home Depot or Lowes is geared towards electricians. The primary wire they sell is not that good either! Your really looking for something like this Jegs #555-10800 50ft rolls $9.99

BruceD,

Thanks, that got me hooked up, I spent a half hour last night on their site and never found that.
So, here is where I am on electricals:
Wire ordered from Jegs
Relay mount sockets from Waytek, 75280, they will mount on a panel
Contacts for the above from Waytek, 31073, I have the proper
crimpers.
Manual reset circuit breakers to replace the fuse links with 46870, they are marine grade. I never liked the way GM put the fuse links in the cars, I'll eliminate 2 or 3 contacts and a couple feet of wire this way and run them in a less hostile environment.
Headlight Relays, DCC Fan controller, CB's all to be mounted on a panel under the fender drivers side with power dist block to eliminate the high current stuff from running all over the car.
Will post pics as soon as the parts start coming in.

Good for your garage. Not your car.

LOL, Babylon, yes I am close to the water, only 2 miles from the atlantic in south florida. There are narine stores all over the place down here. Problem is today being Easter Sunday nothing is open. Oh well, guess I'll go out by the pool and drink a beer
