Clearance Issues
Im working on a 77 vette and i dropped in a sbc 355 and i installed a 6 crt oil pan . My concern is the clearance of the bottom of the pan is at most an 1in. from the steiring component . Should i be worried that it will hit the pan on bumpy roads or a hard dip in the road. Really dont want to find out the hard way ( no oil , sledge hammer trying to come out the hood ) lol . Does anybody no the stock clearance from the bottom of the pan to the steiring component ?
Come on guys , i know sum of yall know what im talking about ??
