Thank you. Great reference site. Unfortunately, it just confirmed that my car isn't "matching number"...what a surprise!

I not sure whether anyone can confirm this, but I thought that the serial numbers for 1971 started with 194371 and not 194671.

Depends on if it's a coupe or convertible. "37" is a coupe and "67" is a convertible. I'd guess that you must own a coupe.

I believe the 4 speed tranny info is incorrect for '78 and '79. I have read that thay were Saginaws and when mine was rebuilt (very late run '78) the guy confirmed it was.
