what E.T. and whp will the stock rear end in my 69 4 speed car give up? any guesses?

My guess is nobody knows anything at all about your rearend or your motor.

I have seen one pull 1.6 sixty foot times and 10.50's with just a good rebuild and HD u-joints.........

and I am sure they have gone quicker than that.....

well i'm looking to build something in the 600hp range and it is a stock rear end at this time. it is going to be i think a 496 or so and turn in the rang of 6,000-6500 rpm i would guess.
