ok so i took my beast out and noticed between gears it jurks any idea what thats from?

There are hundreds of things that could "jerk". Describe it better, and you might get some help with it.

give a little more information if you can...

At this point it could be a spark issue, a carb issue or a transmission problem...

More help will come with more info...

ummm ok lets see its starts up just fine. in reverse the whole car jumps up, and when i get it in drive it runs fine in first til it shifts in to second the it jurks back,and the same in 3rd.

Sounds like it's shifting hard?
Check your transmission vacuum line maybe.

From the information given, it sounds like it may have a shift kit. This would cause a harder shift between the gears than what we may be used to, and cause a jerking feeling.

I cant say i remeber there being a shift kit.....and its not a smooth shift as it is jurky and feels a lack of power........ i hadent done anything transmision wise cause i was busy restoein the body and interior....

Was it shifting like that when you bought the car? Or was the car not running when you bought it, and you have been busy fixing it up.

I noticed on a different thread you have a lot of hoses and vacuum lines plugged or not connected and that is why I asked the question. I dont know if the car was running when you got it, and now that you fixed it you are noticing this.

There's a vacuum line running from the intake somewhere to the transmission. either end can come off and cause some funky transmission behaviour

the car was running when i boug teh car. it was workin fine till like maybe 4 months ago when it started jurkin like that i wasnt sure i though the transmission was finally going but im not sure.....
