A friend of mine has rebuilt his 3.8 V6 Supercharged (Eaton M90) motor, and after the rebuilt, the motor is shaking at the back end by the trans. When he did the rebuilt he ended up putting a chip in one piston so that was changed and did work to the S/C like port & polish, coupler change, noise bearings and other minor stuff. The only real mod to the motor was a cam change, PCM and other electronics.

The rebuilt took approximately 2 weeks from start to finish so I don't think the crank could have warped in that short of time and he did store it properly.
The new piston in his opinion was a good match up to the old one.
He used a torque wrench to reassemble the motor.
I don't think the work to the S/C would cause a vibration at the crank. Any suggestions would be appreciated since this vibration is serious enough that he believes he may have to pull the motor again. He's hoping for this to become a 13 second car. Keep in mind that he had moded this car previously.
Thanks for the reply Jim, he's a well know member in that forum and has posted his problem there unfortunately they're having a difficult time diagnosing the problem. I was hoping that this forum would have more experience in rebuilds.
Thanks and again any suggestions would be appreciated.
