Default 81 headers

I have the stock headers on my 81 with the valve thing on the passenger side. Do the make replacements that dont have that or the injection tubes on top?

Identical without the tubes? No.

Honestly, they are crap. A set of 80 cast iron ram's horns flow better, and won't crack all the time. A known problem.

Yes, but a good set of ceramic headers is a much better option. God bless, Sensei

There is a heat riser/butterfly valve bypass pipe that can be bolted on in the place of the current setup. This is essentially a spacer that bolts on in the place of the current setup.

Check your emission control regulations in your area prior to doing this.

Here it just has to have a CAT if it came with one. Do you know where I can buy one?

Then you are stuck with the cat, and stock emissions equipment. The cat needs the AIR system to work.
