Default Problem solved

Just a quick round up, a new fuel pump solved my initial rough running problem. I got a Carter stock look-alike pump with return line. However my fuel pressure is still dropping a lot when the engine gets very hot. My fuel pressure gauge is behaving kind of strange (inconsistent reading when connected to free air) so a new pressure gauge is underway now.

Thanks for all the good suggestions – the pump seems to be the culprit.

One more thing I did was wrap all the lines with a insulation to keep the lines as cool as possable.

You already have a high performance pump installed. Why would you want to downgrade to a 2 port pump? Please read all the posts giving good info on why three ports is the way to go.

I have a cheap oil filled guage from Midwest Motorsports that does the same thing good psi when cold and down to zero hot,it's next to the carb, bought a Autometer fuel psi guage and it does not loose pressure, but the other one still does.
