Cowl Shake
OK, I've heard about this malady before and I have had a decent amount of seat time in various C-3 coupes and mid-years, but I just recently experienced it for the first time - in my body-off 69 convertible.
Over rough roads the front and rear of the car seem to vibrate and respond at different frequencies, causing the widshield and cowl area to shake. I know I've never experienced it in any of the T-top coupes I'd driven (tops on or not), and I don't remember it in either of my buddy's 65s. Plus, there's really not to much on the car that wasn't repaired, rebuilt, or replaced.
Anyone have any idea what to look for to cure this gremlin?
