Intake comparisons needed.
I would like some opinions on the following intakes.
ie pros/cons. Is it worth it to replace the stock unit from a performance standpoint. Will it fit under the 77 L82 hood with Larsified Qjet.
Will a drop base aircleaner be needed.
I understand on some a them a square to spread bore adapter may be needed.
I'm pulling these from the summit website
Weiand Action+Plus $135.88

Edelbrock Performer $119.95

Performer Air-Gap $205.95

Dual plane Holley Street Dominator $122.95

Summit Racing Street & Strip Stage 1 $89.95

The heads and cam will swapped at a later date as the buget allows, but probably not withing the next year or 2. I would like to do a complete top end package but that is just not in the budget.
I'm not trying to be a annoying with this question, but it is my baby, and I'm only a gearhead wanna be.
I thank you for your support.
Both the Action+ & Performer will work w/ Q-J & your stock air cleaner & a thin insulator (about 1/4"). The best Performer is previous or 2nd 2101 Performer & Chevy's similar bow tie intake which Chevy said was as good as the high rise. This shows the 2nd 2101 Performer (Chevy's bow tie intake is similar w/ Chevy logo in same place as Edelbrock logo) compared to the Victor Jr. http://ganeys.home.sprynet.com/VicJrPerf.JPG
The Performer Air-Gap is about 1/4 inch taller, should fit fine though probably not enough clearance for a thin insulator.
