How about some more info on the car? What are you looking to get yourself into? Do you want a car to drive, or a resto project? and if a project, how involved do you want to get?

a fellow forum member's car. i inquired about it and he sent me pics. when i saw that pic, in particular i kinda flinched, bc i know that this IS a very typical presentation of big trubs. i asked him about it and he replied:
"...The "dimples" you see in the
front end are factory rivets. Almost all these yeras
had issues with the rivets "showing". According to
local "experts" out here, the fact they are showing is
a PLUS! It means the car has not been hit therefore no
repairing them. I bought the car as you see it. Have
no clue who painted it, and I've owned it for about 8
years?"
so - it is what it is. he probably didn't realize it? perhaps he got misinformed by his so called "experts"? anyway, i'm looking for an outright driver.... but a darn presentable one. if this corrosion issue is an urgent and SERIOUS matter, i'm gonna hafta pass, i guess. thanks so much for the help.
