Just bought a warmed over small block for one of my project cars,But i have just seen it has the double hump heads. My question is how do i fit the alternator as the heads have no provision for the bolts.
If you have headers, header-mount alternator brackets are available. If not, you can get a set of early model (<1969) 'Vette exhaust manifolds (the alt. mounts on the manifold) and alternator brackets.
I'm wondering the same thing. I have a set of heads with a serpentine bracket on it, and one of the required bolt holes is not present in that head. I was wondering if it can be drilled and tapped without affecting the structural integrity of the head. Similar question as above, just different purpose. Sorry for hijacking.
