Got a 82 that wants to fall out/feells like a lean miss at part throtle & while giving her heavey gas . During dead stop heavy acell or a 45 mph gas, it plain falls out . but the problem isnt really consistant on the part throt part of it . it will always lay's completly down under heavy acell though. Sounds confusing ,but thats how i can explain this.
Could be the fuel pump. Do you notice it more when your gas tank is less than 1/2 full?
How does it idle? Do you see a good spray at the injectors?
For what it's worth, very fuel related issue I have had with my '82 has either been dirty fuel filter or bad fuel pump.
Fuel filt is 10k old if that .. Idles high @ times ,but smooth ,somewhat longer somewhat cranktime @startup. inj spray i will ckeck , Funny part is that i can go out on the HWY and not miss a beat .

A weak fuel pump will cause the car to stumble upon hard acceleration.
If you notice this behavior especially when the gas tank is about 1/2 full, I would have to suspect the FP.
Since you didn't mention seeing the Check Engine Light I assume it is not coming on?

Sounds like the fuel pump or at least fuel related. How old is the pump?
