Willy Stein makes a decent shock.....
I stuck 4 new Bilsteins on my '72 vert here and went for a drive, as noted in the other thread last night....
and find they are a nice improvement, but not all THAT dramatic over the olde KYBs on there for 12 years now....
the single largest improvement was over the undulating bridge nearby, about 3.5 miles worth each way,....and in the fast lanes the vette used to be VERY bouncy in the *** end, that is just about completely gone now, less then 5% remaining....plastic spring and all.....
I also notice those pesky lane reflectors they use down here in Florida don't make as much noise/vibrations/road feel as they used to, neither do the rumble strips in the school zone nearby, which BTW do nothing but make me want to go faster,
so yes, they are a better shock, no question.....it is a 300 bux experiment, and if buying shocks for the first time, worth the extra bux over the KYBs.......do I see 300 bux improvement NOW?? YEH, it mucho better....but I DO wonder that it takes 300 bux to do it....
oh well, they on there now, to stay....
BTW....12 years and 80-100k miles and the KYBs leaked no oil, and still hold gas, and they seem very stiff still....don't even show the worse for wear....go figger....

I found them to be much better than the KYB's on my car and well worth the investment. As I noted in the other thread and you seem to back up, all the little bumps and cracks are smoothed out and yet you still get a firmer ride

Thanks for the review
