Stick with what's in it already. Don't switch , that's when you run into trouble. I have 125,000 miles on my 76 and only used Pennzoil 10w-30 every 5000 miles. No problems yet.

One of the best things I did was switch to ALL Mobil 1 lubes in my 69 a few years ago. Wouldn't go back.

I broke my engine in which has a flat tappet cam with Castrol gtx then after break[-2,000-mile mark-]I added the redline n now 1,000 miles in she's running real sweet n hasn't lost a drop.....Jerrylee///
