Grooved tires
Its my own fault, but the tires on the vette have been out-of-balance for the past couple thousand miles. I noticed when I put them back on this spring they are pretty well grooved from driving on them. Is it too late now to have them re-balanced? What do I do with the tires, are they toast? They have 75% tread left so I would prefer to save them.
To make things worse, they are powder coated dark grey (by the previous owner
) and they sprayed over the existing weights when they did painted them . I am afraid that if I have to take off the existing weights, there will be silver patched underneath. Any thoughts?
