The one I'm using is actually the PA-4P. Looks like a simple insall, I know it comes with just about everything you need. I bought a tank from the same place, as I wasn't too thrilled with the 8 patches I found on mine (and i know only 3 of them were from me!). Looks like a nice setup, we'll see in about a month!
I'm using the same Tanks set up and it has built in baffels (a tray), I have found that I need a 74 or earlier tank because of the 4" hole you need to cut in the top of the tank will interfere with the mounting strap. My 77 has a wide oval sending unit plate on top that leaves no room for the hole and locates it to far into the strap area, a 74 or earlier tank has a smaller sending unit plate that gives added room.
I would not recommend trying to pull fuel from the top. Most of these guys are pulling fuel from the bottom. I would go with the in tank system like I am using.

This is what my we're using on a friend's '78
Went with a SS tank and in-tank pump from Rock Valley on my '72.

Nice looking setup. This might be the easiest way to go. Looks like it has its own sump to keep it from running dry. What do you do about the sending unit for the fuel gauge?
