I was driving to work this morning when my choke light came on with a slight buzzing noise from under the console.Sounded like there was a bumble bee in there.
My volts were normal....everything worked as normal.I checked my connection at the alternator, checked the battery connection. Both were good.
Any ideas on what might cause this...or where I could check next?
Also try to have the alternator tested- you could have it all bolted down tight, but it could still be bad... your battery will make you think it's ok, b/c of the voltage meter, but soon it is going to die on you. I know- it happened to me damnit.
Oh yeah- and the choke light was on and making the same buzzing sound which you speak of... I replaced the alternator and it cured the problem. Good luck.
