I threw my alternator belt and my power steering belt today. It was a crappy aftermarket chrome braket. So does anyone know of a good serpentine belt setup that is reasonably priced? That will work with my current power steering pump (Stock).

Yep, and you can even use your stock pump in the serpentine bracket, even though it's advisable to get a new pump and just transfer the spring and plunger.
I have serp on my 350, and on the 400 that's going in the Vette. I have it set up so even with a mechanical fan it'll all fit under a stock '77 hood.
DB - you been sandbaggin' on me? you have a cover over your A/C Evaporator area - is that Vintage Air or ???? So I do not hijack, email me with more info and especialy pics

No, actually that A/C block off was a spare part I had laying on the shelf. You won't believe me...
...it's a Chrysler TF727 transmission pan, cleaned, painted, and screwed to the firewall.
Durango Boy. I have the same serpentine set up as you. Where did you get your top universal hose at? Do you know the part number? My hose runs across the alternator bracket and over the serpentine belt. I have it kind of braced away from hitting anything. Yours looks much smarter and less chance of hitting anything.

I got it at Autozone. It was the longest universal they had. I don't have the part number handy as I removed the tag.

Sorry.
Durango Boy thanks for that info. It will make it easier just by asking for the longest universal hose. You talk about numerous visits to autozone when I put my serpentine set up on the car i elimanated the smog pump pully and I must of made a half a dozen visits until I got a belt the proper length. Thanks again for the info.
Matt, what water and power steering pumps did you use with that serpentine setup?
I use both water pump and power steering pump from a 1992 Camaro. Other years will work, it's just that's what year my serp setup came form so that's what I stick with.
I sure wish there was a conversion for the BB... that did not require cutting the front crossmember - I would like to update to serpentine - maybe will have to wait till I save $2500 for an aftermarket system...
LOL...I'm going back to the regular belts on my '71, I want to use the A6 compressor, and it just won't fit with the serp belt system. In Arizona, blocking off the AC is just not an option!
DB what is that fresh air off of I see great potential in that.
The hat is from a '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the tube is from an '01 Alero intake system, and the filter is a generic Ebay filter for $5. The spacer under the hat is a standard GM Q-jet spacer cut down to 1.5".
