Rebuilding calipers?
My brakes have always been less than perfect. But My recent brake line problem has made me think rebuilding all four calipers would be a good idea.
Has anyone rebuilt their calipers and had improved braking? Or will it just stop the leaks?
How can I tell if my calipers are ss lined? Is it reasonable to have them lined? Or do they start to cost as much as new ones at that point?

I rebuilt all four on my '74 several years ago. Not particularly compex, and I noticed a much firmer pedal. Of course, not willing to leave well enough alone, I also decided to rebuild the parking brake and turned a one day project into over a week with the rear end up on jackstands while I exhausted the english language's supply of four letter words.
