Hope it's ok if I hijack it.....
I'm also looking for a rev limiter.
Today I have a MSD 6A (without rev limiter) but with my new engine I really need something stopping me from rev over 7000 rpm.
Is the Crane HI6 compatible with my dist MSD MSD-8458 (nearly the same as MSD-8571) and a regular coil?
I have also looked at Accel 300+ and Holley Annihilator 75.
Is there any differens between the boxes or are they all the same?

As gkull said above it is compatible with your current setup. The Crane box can be setup with many systems and you just dial in your rev limit setting. You can change it at any time with just a little screwdriver.
