So today I was getting ready the vette I have only owned for three weeks to sell, a gentleman was coming over to look at it, I bought as a project car, but my back has been causing more trouble(READ PAIN) than anticipated when working on it so anyways... ) because the windows dont seat right, I use a tarp to cover the side windows it with bricks on the four corners around the tarp. Well it looked like rain when me and the gf were going out to grab lunch so she FRIGGIN broke the front windshield when placing the brick down on the tarp to hold it in place. So my question is where can I find a replacement for the new buyer that wont break my bank. I am already taking a loss selling it for 5500 and am slightly negotiable on price. Or should I just let the new buyer worry about it and come down how much in price. GOD IM PISSED, and of course the gf goes, ill pay for it with the saddest face you have ever seen and looks like she is about to cry so i say dont worry about it so where is the best replacement windshield for the buck? I feel like my life is a comedy routine to entertain god.

I went online and scheduled a windshield replacement about three months ago. It cost me $174 installed + tax. Took the guy about an hour and 1/2 to do.

I had Safelite do a windshield and it was done well and resonably priced.

had my windshield replaced here in Bakersfield CA. for $100.00 installed. side windows go for about $125.00 but ofcourse there more work involved

I had the same experience, but they brought two guys.
