spark plug wire clip...where does it go?

spark plug wire clip...where does it go?
Where does this clip attach? The description say 'oil pan bolt'. It doesnt seem possible. I have the 4 head shields installed along with the front clips that attach to the forward shields. Looking at it all from underneath it doesnt seem like the wires should drop all the way down to the pan.
Does anyone have pics from the bottom of the wire routing? Looking at the AIM it appears they run straight back versus dropping down to the pan.

Duke94, on mine(I just changed oil pan gaskets on 2 of mine) in your top pic the clip goes one more bolt to the left. Next to the hump. On both sides they were right at the bottom of the "V" shields.

Hi TE,
Once the 'boomerang' heat shields are installed most of the clip is hidden.
Just the part under the oil pan bolt remains visible.
Each clip holds the 2 foreward wires on each side.
