I have a whole roll of fuel injection fuel line I'm thinking of using for my jumper hoses from the transmission cooler hard lines to the cooler. I can go buy some transmission cooler hose but I have so much of the fuel line I'd rather use it. I have HEARD that it'll work just the same but I need some experience behind that statement.
i've run the fuel hose for a while too. but i was told to use tranny cooler hose. couldn't find any reason for this, or i quit looking. pressure rating shouldn't be a problem. dimensions, OD, is different. must be material compatiblilty thing. couldn't find compatibility issue, just went with the tranny hose . . .
Tranny fluid WILL dammage some rubber hoses, see if you can contact the manufacturer and see if its compatible.
I believe this fuel line was made by Goodyear in Mexico.
I have used it before in transmission cooler line application before but on vehicles that were not driven often and I would like to think I'll be driving my Vette a lot more as a DD when it's all done.
I don't think it matters if driven or not, there is not that much heat. The issue would be chemical, the hose will swell and leak if it is not compatible. If you have used it before with no trouble then you should be ok
