Default Battery Drain Question

Guys,

I've recently finished up my project of Vintage Air System and Autometer Phantom Gauges. I also installed an amp and sub woofer. The amp and subwoofer have been installed for a month with no problems. I finished up the a/c and guage swap about two or three weeks ago. Now after a few days of sitting the battery will go completely dead. It's less than a year old and once I jump it off it will charge up and work fine. I installed a switch last week and I am now disconnecting the battery after each drive, however I forgot to on my last drive and the battery was completely dead. I will use the disconnect but I am troubled as to why the battery is draining. The only thing I can think of is that my old clock didn't work and I installed the autometer clock. Would the clock running drain the battery that quick. Its the only thing that makes sense, but it still doesnt sound right as I wouldn't think that could cause the battery drain. Any thoughts?

Take your neg. battery cable off and put a 12 volt test light between the battery term and the battery cable-if the test light lights you have a draw on your battery. If you have a draw remove your courtesy light fuse and check again. If the light is still lit then start removing fuses until the light goes out.The fuse that makes the light go out will be the circuit that is draining your battery.http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k3...AINTEST002.jpg
