1969 Vette. Was a 350/350 but does not have the original 350 in it. Nice, clean sharpe looking 350 in it now. Vette has 58K original miles. The body is in nice shape, there are several spider crackes in the paint, near the lights and on the trunk area. There is a small crack near the front door on the fender. The seals in the T-Top, back window or side window leakes, I have not investigated that yet, but it did leake when I had it sit out one rainy night, the old carpet and seats were out at the time, thank god! now that the new seats and carpet are in, I wont chance that! lol.... The vette needs all new bushings since the original ones are dry rotted from sitting 30 years. All the vaccumm stuff works. I rebuild a 88 motor, 350, Looks and Run Great and is real strong, but is not the original. Factory side pipes are good and I am install a nice used original set of chrome covers. The frame only has a hole where the side pipes were bolted to it, all other areas are nice. I replaced all the brake lines, calipers, fuel lines, and e-brake stuff. The interior is like new! Well almost, there is no cracks in the dash and the leather seats look and feel great. I installed a new radiator. I have the tank sticker. The 4-speed, with the factory 4:11 work great!
Thnaks. Ya, I would have thought it was NOM since it was sitting since 77, but she must have had a hard life before then. Whoever had her was gentle to the interior but must have raced her or something to blow the motor before 58K and 8 years.
I would have thought more guys would throw their two cents in on how much they thought my Vette was worth.
Chuck, how about tell us details of your serpentine system, fan, shroud, water pump, A/C, P/S etc? What year & model did those brackets/setup come from?
The complete motor and system came from a 1988 chevy truck. The problem came about as the motor was too high I needed to lower the Alt. and Tensioner. I removed the Power Steering and A/C from the motor. There is a Acc. bracket that bolts to the front of the motor. Since i needed to lower the Alt. and Tensionier the became off center I believe. I have a guy that has an allignment lazer that should correct this Saturday. Otherwise... It is going to be converted to V-Belt in the next week or two.
From: I tend to be leery of any guy who doesn't own a chainsaw or a handgun.

Well, one possibility might be because most of us who spend time in this section (Technical/Performance) are interested in technical and performance issues. There's a couple other forum sections that are devoted to cars for sale, or Corvettes in general.
