Has any one hook up a L88 that drafts air like the big block ; but hooked it up to a smalll block and what changes did you make !

I think he's talking about using the air box on an L88 hood with a small block.

I've got the hood on mine, but not the air box setup, just an open air cleaner. I'm sure it could be done... may take a little fabrication. I've wondered the same thing myself.

 

All you have to do is add on the air box to the underside of the hood and cut holes in the backside if its not already open. Put on an L88 air cleaner and your in business

 

It can be done. Someone here did it with a small block before he swapped to a 454 but the name escapes me.

You may need a spacer to bring the carb/air cleaner up to where it will seal to the hood but that is about the extent of issues.

Doesn't matter, small block/bigblock just round up the L-88 air cleaner parts add the airbox to your L-88 hood do a little measuring yada yada...cold air intake
