Best Ignition Module
Several years ago, I bought a DUI coil and module. The module went out after about 2 years and I went back to my original that was 20 years old. Amazing. But, at high rpm's (like 4K+), I get missing/backfiring. Could it be the old module needs to be replaced, and, if so, what one is the best. Accel? Forget DUI. Others?

Unless you race, it really hard to beat good old GM Delco parts. To buy them from a dealer may be more expensive than the hi-po stuff through Summit Racing or Jegs. If that's the case, I personally have had good experience with MSD and Pertronix. I understand Mallory stuff isn't what it used to be but that's second hand information at best. I'm sure others will agree or dispute what I say or recommend Accel, Crane or other brands.
You can also save some money buying the Summit Racing or Jegs house brands. I haven't heard anything bad about their stuff but I would expect it to be as good as oe.
