Default Easy timing related question
Hi All


I have a quick question. Im trying to set the timing on my 69 BB. The 0 mark on the piece of metal is wore off, is the 0 mark in the center of the metal? Sorry I dont know the techincal term for that piece. Thanks

It's a timing tab. It would be a good idea to verify where TDC is and then remark the tab.

you can also see if the balancer has slipped - the outer ring sometimes 'slips' and changes it's position relative to the inner portion of the balancer.
