tri power vacuum
testing the vacuum pods on the tri power and need t know if they should hold a vacuum or not. tried the vac. pump on them and they will not hold vacuum. so I grabbed the hose and sucked on it and the carb opens but you can hear the hiss of the vac. leak.
and I did unhook the linkage in the other side.

Hi
They will not hold the vacuum because they have a small vent into the 2ndary carb just below the throttle plate. So they work with primary vacuum , but also 2ndary for quick response closing.
