Hi Folks,
Since there's only a few more top-down days left, I figured I'd get a few pictures today. Got up to 78 degrees here in northern NJ. How can I work on a day like this?!?
Anyway, she still needs lots of love, but were getting there.
(Sorry in advance if they're too big)

My favorite year although I'm a little biased! Awesome 'vert!! Welcome to the forum; you'll get so addicted you'll never wanna leave!
Is the car an original sidepipe car or were the pipes added later? Do you plan to restore (as if it needs it!) for show or redo and mod as a driver? Which 427 option: 390,400, or 435hp? If it's either of the latter ones, does she have the original tripower setup? Also, give some more details re: options, 4spd or auto, PS, PB, AC, etc.? Again, gorgeous car!! :yesnod: :yesnod:
Tom, looks great! You can be in my patriotic 427/convertible display! Now we just need to find a white 427 convertible!! Maybe Joe (Flareside) will paint his white... :) MJ
Thanks...
It's amazing what a sunny day and a digital camera can do to a just OK paint job! Marks69BB :
It's an L36 427/390, 4 sp manual with 3.70s.
It has the original style sidepipes, but they where added at some point because it has the bezels for the rear exhaust. PS, no PB or AC(nothing like a wide open engine bay!).
The previous owner left me with plenty to do, but the plan is to get it as close to original as possible. When the lease is up on my Grand Prix in June, this will be may daily driver(got the wife's Explorer for the snowy/rainy days). That ought to be interesting, as it is now I make up any and every excuse I can just to get out and burn up a little gas :D
Joe :
Same here, see ya at the next one!!

Darn, how did I miss that car at Mahwah on Sunday? Too many cars, too little time... Beautiful car! It seems like the forum accounts for half the sharks at Mahwah now. Maybe MNJack will make it there some day?
Mark (MNJack), don't remind me about white roadsters! Remember the original white '68 L71 ragtop for $16k that I passed on before I bought my car? NOW I WANT IT!
