Default 68 underbody insulation

I posted a thread a few days ago about underbody insulation. I was told ZIP had it and I got it ($55.00) My problem is where does it actually go. By the shape of the 2 pieces it does'nt seem to fit anywhere. I thought it was a good idea but now I'm thinking I wasted my money. So if anyone knows where it goes I would deeply appreciate it. I don't seem to find it in the 68 assembly manual either.

It didn't come with instructions? Call ZIP technical support; they should know what you have to do. That must have been a 1 year production item. My '71 only has some tunnel insulation over the auto tranny.

The two pieces fit directly under the seating area...if you look under your 68, you should see metal tabs. The insulation is held in place by these tabsl
