Supercharging?
Hello I was woundering if anyone has supercharged there c3 and what all you had to do to make it work? A friend of mine got a paxton supercharger a long with mount and hat for his 350 chevy for really cheap and if I can find the same deal I am going to go for it. I have a 76 so it is a low compresion engine in the first place.

Witha centrifugal blower, hood clearance shouldnt be a problem, and while the motor is low compression, I wouldnt run much boost, especially if its got some miles on it, not sure how much a stock low output 70's small block can take. I think stock most paxtons run like 6lbs correct?

I don't think a stock hood will allow carb. bonnet clearance. I have a high-rise style hood and have very little clearance. (I am running a 1 inch carb. spacer with a Vic. Jr. intake). Packaging is very tight, especially if you plan to run an intercooler.
