Not familiar with the product you are talking about but in my opinion oil additives are an unnecessary waste of money. Regular oil changes with the proper viscosity and quality are all that is needed.

I have never heard of it either and have never put an additive in my oil in 40 years of driving.
I stand corrected, we used to put STP in back in the 60's until we found out it was a lot of B.S. All it did was make Andy Granitelli rich.
