need carb help please
Guys-
I own a '76 vette with a al. headed 350, aprox. 400 hp. I'm running the original q-jet carb,rebuilt and cleaned up.My problem is the carb is running very rich,enough so that the exhaust burns your eyes when standing near.Also,when driving the car and comming to a stop it stalls out 50% of the time.It will restart easily but when the rpm's drop it usually stalls.Carb was taken apart by my carb guy and nothing was found out of place. I really need help on this one,looking at replacing carb if this continues.
