Installing rear stabilizer bar brackets on 79
I just purchased a new suspension kit from zip.A rear stabalizer bar did not come with the car as original. The problem i have with the new bracket bushings is that the hole diameter is too small to slip in through bar. it obviouse that im going to have to cut them. My question is does it it matter where i cut them to where it will affect my suspension performance. :rolleyes:

I purchased probably the same bar and the bushings are already cut. Yours should be too. I pried mine open, slathered them up with the supplied lubricant and slipped them right on. No problems.
I have the type of rear bar that connects to my trailing arms via the same type links as the front sway bar.
