Default Zz4 Header Help

I am putting a zz4 crate motor in my 72 vert. Looking for some recommendations on headers. I looked at the products suggested in another thread and when I called the suppliers they told me they would not work. Headers in question were Dougs by THERMALTECH and Patriot engine huggers. I was told neither of these were a workable solution. All comments and/or suggestions welcome.

I put a ZZ4 in my 72 coupe, and am using Flow tech ceramic coated headers. They match up well to the ZZ4's D shaped exhaust port. I DONT have a.c. NOR do I have power brakes. I DO have a 4spd. They fit perfect! No banging or "dinging" of any kind. I paid around $335 at local speed shop, but have seen them mail order for about $290. Hope this helps.

i,m currently using hedman ceramic headers . they got that D port flange and they fit superb , no touching anywhere . the only negative is that there really to close from the ground but then my suspension has been dropped 2 inches .

Have zz4 heads and running ceramic coated dynomax headers with no problems, couple plugs are tight but plug boots do not touch
