im going to replace my camshaft in my 75 l-48. what is the differences between flat tappet, and hydraulic rollers?

i was going with the summit 1102 cam that operates at idle to 5500. and then sealed power hydraulic flat tappet lifters.
if i bought the cam and lifters in a kit, it operates at 1,500 to 5,500. i want the lowest rpm for more bottom end torque right?

is this all i need or do i need to replace other parts like rods and rockers?

hydraulic roller has rollers on the bottom of the lifter a more
rounded looking lobe on the cam. they will give more power
and a wider power range, but there is a huge difference in
the cost. As long as your pushrods and rockers are in good
shape no signs of wear they will work with your new flat tappit,
replace the timing gear set. Consider the SUM-1103 it is still
good for a stock converter give a little better performance.

i am also working this type of project now...
if you go with hydrolic rollers you will need the rollers and rods to match because the roller will make your stock rods to long
i am ting to find out if stock on a 77 is hydralic tappet or mechanical ?
any care to chime in ?
i could use the help too
