I'm getting ready to build my P/S / Hydroboost lines, and in preparation I was reading through some old power steering threads. This one in particular caught my eye: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1611420
Is the flow control valve in the output port a direct replacement among those years? Could I drop the 67-69, 70-73 or 82 valve directly in my 77's pump? Where could I find one?
All of the fittings will interchange into the pump. But be aware that starting in 1980 the fittings were changed to 16x1.5mm o-ring connections and require a pressure hose with the correct metric end at the pump.

Thanks, Jim. Do you have any idea where the valves can be obtained? I know that you've said that most rebuilt pumps require the re-use of the valve from the old pump.
