Default Qjet needed for test

I have tried everything to get the best seat of the pants performance out of my 350/300, Turbo 400, Cast iron intake, Cast exhaust manifolds etc. It just doesn't feel like it is pulling enough during acceleration. I have set the total timing per the sticky paper, I have adjusted the carb with a vacuum gauge, replaced float and checked the level, new plugs etc. The carb is a new rebuilt matching # from Chicago Corvette but I feel it is causing my problems. small puddle of fuel on the intake...raw fuel smell

Does anyone have a carb on the shelf that I can bolt on drive around the block a few times and then send it back? I am hesitant to go to Summit because if it is not the carb I don't know if they will let me return it.

There are a lot of good people on this forum so I thought I would ask.

Thanks!

Here is a site that has all the info on rebuilding/tuning,
http://www.recarbco.com/technical/

I only run Holleys, so the site is the only way to help you.
