Fuel Injection System
Got a good one for you fuel system types. My buddy just put a 93 350 in his 76 vette and has had trouble getting the fuel to the engine. It will cut out on him because it loses the fuel flow momentarily and stalls. He has so far changed the distibutor,cap,rotor,coil,fuel sending unit,pump,plugs,wires,and still has periods of fuel loss so far with diagnosis and other labor has racked up $1200 can you help with more suggestions for him? :confused: Thanks in Advance

Check out VetteDan's web site below. He's got one of the most eloquent LT1/4L60E install. It's also a great web site with lots of info. This page is devoted to the fuel system, which as he stated, was his biggest hurdle.
If it's not the fuel system, I'd be looking at the wiring harness and PCM.

I was able to install a electric fuel pump in my tank (78). I do not know if the 76 tank has the same size opening . I used a pump for a Mustang, I can send more information or pictures if interested. I have had no problems. If the pump is external it must be located as close to the tank as possible. It also must be designed for a fuel injected system. The pressure is higher for a fuel injected engine than a carburated engine. Roger L. Gibbons
